Walking Together
Space for grief. Company for the journey.
Proposed initiative
The need
Grief has no single timetable. People deserve a place to be heard without pressure to feel better, explain their faith, or share more than they choose.
Who this is for
Adults seeking moderated peer support through grief or a difficult season. Eligibility must never depend on conversion, church membership, or religious participation.
What we hope to do
Develop small moderated groups, prayer opportunities, bereavement resources, and referrals to qualified services.
How funds would be used
Volunteer training, accessible group tools, approved resources, and care coordination.
Prepare to serve
Train as a peer-support facilitator or help curate appropriate referral resources.
Express volunteer interestCareful preparation, lasting trust.
Peer support is not clinical treatment or an emergency service. Facilitator training, boundaries, and referral procedures require approval.

Common questions
Can I request help now?
This proposed initiative is not currently accepting assistance applications. You can contact us about your interest; we cannot promise assistance. For urgent needs, contact verified services in your area.
Does a gift guarantee a specific outcome?
No. Contributions support the disclosed costs of approved work. We do not promise that a fixed amount guarantees a meal, bed, job, or other outcome.
What happens if the program changes?
Collection stops if the purpose cannot be fulfilled. Any reassignment or refund requires recorded review and donor communication; the original designation is retained.
